Resources
Here are a list of links to useful resources:
Greg Palast: One of America's best journalists, publishes most of his work abroad because he can't publish it in the United States. (You know, the land of the free.) You should really read his book, THE BEST DEMOCRACY MONEY CAN BUY, which has the evidence that the Florida 2000 election was stolen, among many other topics. Some of the chapters are available on his website
Paul Krugman: Krugman is currently America's best political columnist. Read his book, THE GREAT UNRAVELING. It is a collection of his New York Times columns and other essays that refute the Bush administration's lies and fuzzy math throughout Bush's first (and, hopefully, only) term. It's clear, concise and economics professor Krugman can do the math! Read him Tuesdays and Fridays at the New York Times:
Robert Greenwald, director UNCOVERED, and OUTFOXED and producer of the "UN" series (which also includes UNPRECEDENTED and UNCONSTITUTIONAL): Yeah, he also directed XANADU back in the day, but lately he work has been devoted to getting out the truth. These documentaries are clear, no nonsense looks at the 2000 election scandal, the lead up to the Iraq War and the impact of Fox News (respectively).

BUZZFLASH!: I really love Buzzflash for digging through the news and pulling the important stories out of the crap. I have some issues with them, such as their approval of Democratic Party election rigging against Nader and the hard-on they seem to have for Clinton that I really don't understand. Still, they do a great job of pointing to alternative news and weeding the facts out of our corrupt corporate media. The Buzzflash maniacs are online 24/7, updating their site and railing against the machine.
Working For Change: A great resource for op ed and opinion pieces. Updated once daily, Monday through Friday.

NOW With Bill Moyers: The most important news magazine on television. This PBS series has covered many stories ignored in the mainstream media. Check your local listings and tune in each week.
True Majority: Financed by Ben Cohen, formerly of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, this organization works to counter the corruption and money in politics. Participating in their calls to action often takes nothing more than a click of your mouse. Check them out at:

Corporateering: I've just finished reading Jamie Court's excellent book CORPORATEERING: HOW CORPORATE POWER STEALS YOUR PERSONAL FREEDOM AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. The title says it all. The book demonstrates how corporate culture has slowly taken over society in the last twenty to thirty years. It's arguments are compelling and the future it presents, if unchecked, looks pretty frightening. Court has set up a resource for his anti-corporateering movement at:
Arianna Huffington: Arianna is still one of the best columnists out there. After assisting with her run for California governor, I felt a little jaded. (I wondered if she just did it to write another book. In the end, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.)

Kapeesh!: The Kapeesh website recently launched with the first issue of their DVD magazine KAPEESH.ORG, VOL. 1, which is a compilation of short films and other materials (including Bill Kelly cartoons). 100,000 copies of the DVD are being distributed in swing states to persuade voters to vote against Bush.
John Kerry Is A Douchebag, But I'm Voting For Him Anyway: I appreciate the sentiment of this website. If I wasn't voting for myself, I'd pick the lesser of two evils and vote Kerry.

The Main Candidates: Below are the links to the official websites of the main candidates. I don't publish them here in the interest of fairness. This public service is to show you that I'm not afraid of the competition. Hell, I welcome it. Check out the websites for these guys and then click back here. Guaranteed that you'll be making your vote Anger on November 2nd.
