Now THIS Is Propaganda

I'm so tired of nut jobs, conservatives and alleged moderates dismissing FAHRENHEIT 9/11 as propaganda. It's not propaganda. It's an op ed piece. It has a point-of-view. It's underlying information is accurate.

I've never been Michael Moore's biggest fan, but I admire this film. He got in everyone's face with some inconvenient truths. He brought home the price of war on our troops and the Iraqis when the rest of the media was cowed. (You want to see something with less flair and, perhaps, even more punch, check out CONTROL ROOM.)

The main criticism I keep hearing is that Michael Moore is fat. Yeah, that's very telling about the merits of the film.

To balance the scales, here's some real propaganda:

Hell, it's just plain mean. I would like to add that if George is talking to someone outside this earthly plane, I don't think it's dog-spelled-backwards. David Berkowitz took his marching orders from his neighbor's dog. Just a thought. Old Mike's looking a little more reasonable now?
